retail nursery associate

We are looking for individuals to join our growing team as a Retail Nursery Associate. If you’re a person who has a passion for gardening and loves being outdoors, and enjoys working with a fun team, this is the perfect job for you.

A Nursery Retail Associate works in a team environment to maintain a clean, beautiful, and healthy plant stock and retail nursery. You will be providing stellar customer service along with supporting our landscaping department with a commitment to quality and professionalism.

This position is needed on a temporary, part-time basis, approximately April through mid-June with the possibility of staying on for qualified candidates. Experience is preferred but not required. We will train motivated individuals.

specific job duties include:

  • Attend to customer needs and questions

  • Conduct cash register transactions

  • Weed, deadhead, and prune plant stock

  • Assist in unloading deliveries of plant material.

  • Repot and propagate plant stock

  • Assist with maintenance of property gardens

  • General cleaning and organizing of nursery/retail space

necessary skills + qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day.

  • Must be available 2-5 days a week including 1 day per weekend.
